Best Time to Visit Abu Dhabi

      Abu Dhabi has got a sub-tropical, arid climate and enjoys sunny clear days year round. The best time to visit is during the winter months from November to April, when the temperature averages 24°C (75°F). Summer, from May to October, is very hot, often reaching 49°C (120°F) in July and August with night-time average of 28°C (82°F).

Seasons

High Season (Winter): November to April, with December and January the busiest months. This is the best season for desert adventures, with dune bashing and desert safaris and one can really make the best of the outdoors with leisurely strolls within and around the Abu Dhabi Island. Warm clothes such as a jacket or shawl are useful as it is quite breezy during the colder months. The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is for one month in January/February and several shops in Abu Dhabi offer discounts during the same period.
 

Low season (Summer): May to September during the summer months when hotel prices are usually at a discount. This is the best time to go to Abu Dhabi if you plan to take the advantage of the summer hotel offers and enjoy a month-long Summer in Abu Dhabi festival in July with fun-filled extravaganza of family-centric activities, award-winning international acts and shows, premium edutainment concepts and value-driven ticket, hotel and deals etc. July and August are the hottest months and humidity is usually very high through to September and it can be the most unpleasant time to be outside. All facilities, restaurants and shopping malls are fully air conditioned so even on the hottest days, visitors can relax and enjoy a range of activities, shopping and dining indoors.
