Description
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first level of scuba certification. You will be guided by a professional PADI instructor who provides a relaxed and supportive learning environment.
The course starts with knowledge development sessions covering essential diving principles, safety protocols, and the physics of diving. These sessions ensure you understand the importance of each skill and safety rule.
Next are confined water dives, usually in a swimming pool, where you practice fundamental scuba skills such as buoyancy control, mask clearing, and regulator recovery. This phase helps build confidence and muscle memory.
Finally, you complete four open water dives to apply these skills and explore the underwater environment.
Schedule
- Day 1: First 3 confined sessions and 2 open water dives
- Day 2: Confined sessions 4 and 5 plus the last 2 open water dives
You can book the course on non-consecutive days according to availability.
By course completion, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to dive safely both locally and internationally.
