Tourist Club Area in Abu Dhabi
Located at the eastern end of the Corniche, the Tourist Club Area (TCA) is a wonderful place to live if you want to experience busy city life and be close to the city center. TCA is one of the most vibrant places in with a cosmopolitan mix of residents. Cost of living in this area is a little bit more as it is one of the most demanded places with so many activities buzzing nearby. The streets are very busy and getting a parking lot is a real issue, so make sure if the accommodation has got a parking space.
There are lots of shops and fashion boutiques in this part of the city including Abu Dhabi Mall which is a happening place for shopaholics. The mall has got plenty of parking spaces and so visitors planning to shop from the Abu Dhabi Co-operative Society or Khalifa Centre usually prefer to stop by the Abu Dhabi Mall. You can buy reasonably priced electronics, toys, clothing and cosmetics from the Lulu Centre on Al Salam Street.
Plenty of restaurants and hotels are available at TCA and so many entertainment options including club activities are centered here and Abu Dhabi Corniche which is just minutes away. Popular hospitals in this area are the Al Salam Hospital on Hamdan Street and the Corniche Hospital near the Sheraton Hotel.
